Bibione: a lot of fun for the White Night

The beach of Bibione is ready to face the most important day of the entire summer season: Ferragosto.

Hotels and apartments in Bibione are already full of tourists from Italy and from foreign countries, who will spend the holiday of Ferragosto on the beach, enjoying the several events planned by the seaside resort.

The day of Ferragosto is rich in shows in the entire city from morning until late at night, to engage all guests of the seaside resort, children, families and young people at all hours of the day. One of the events not to miss is the White Night of Ferragosto (Notte Bianca). During the longest night of the summer of Bibione, cafés, restaurants, shops and many other businesses will be open until dawn and they will offer to tourists discounts and special promotion, besides a lot of music and entertainment. All guests of the Bibione beach can stroll through the streets of the city centre and go shopping also at night, taking advantage of special offers suggested for this special celebration, and they will also watch concerts and events in different places of the seaside resort.

The firs event of the evening is the parade of vintage cars and motorcycles in Viale Aurora at 7.00 p.m. and in Bibione Pineda at 11.30 p.m., while in the central Piazzale Zenith they will arrive already in the morning at 7.00. One hundred vintage cars that made the history of car and motorcycle touches the main places of resort, giving all tourists the chance to admire these two- and four-wheeled jewels.

For the music lovers, from 9.30 p.m. Piazza Keplero and Piazza Fontana offer two live concerts. And around 11.00 p.m. is the time of Ferragosto fireworks in Piazzale Zenith. Colourful, bright and always fascinating, the fireworks will capture the eyes of all tourists, adults and children. Naturally it is possible to admire the show also from the apartments of Bibione, like the Residence Columbia. Its guests can easily watch the fireworks from the large terraces in all apartments furnished with table and chairs.

Ferragosto in Bibione offers shows and events also during the day. In addition to the first meeting of vintage cars and motorcycles at 7.00 a.m. in Piazzale Zenith, it will be present also the sport on the sand with the Quicksand Bibione CUP, beach tennis competition for under 14. The Beach Village in Piazzale Zenith is the place of this beach tennis competition, where protagonists are young boys who love this sport.

There is no much time to Ferragosto, the most awaited and important day of the summer. August, the 15th, is the turning point of the summer season and it welcomes the highest number of tourists, especially in the Italian seaside resorts like Bibione.

According to the trend of these recent days, it is possible to think that the beach, the hotels and the apartments of Bibione will be fully booked by a lot of tourists, mostly Italians. During this week events and shows follow each other in the seaside resort, and they reach their height Saturday, the 15th, with events from morning till evening.

Among the different shows planned for the day of Ferragosto, all tourists will enjoy a beautiful parade of historic cars and vehicles along the main streets of Bibione. At 4 pm will arrive these incredible cars in Piazzale Zenith, few walk steps from the apartments of the Residence Columbia, and for the joy of all tourists the vehicles will stop there for a couple of hours. Drivers will be happy to take some pictures with tourists and they will answer all questions. At 6 pm the cheerful parade will drive along the main streets of the city, passing through Bibione Spiaggia, Lido del Sole and Bibione Pineda. Between an aperitif and an appetizer all tourists will admire the funny historical car long procession.

In the evening, special dinners and parties wait for tourists in the different restaurants and cafés of the seaside resort, but at 11 pm everyone is invited on the beach and squares to watch the Ferragosto fireworks show. The best place to enjoy this sight is the beach in front of Piazzale Zenith, easy reachable by foot or by the public transportation. Guests of Residence Columbia can watch the fireworks from the big terraces of their apartments in Bibione: the residence is located few meters from the beach and the square.
