Motorcycling on the beach of Bibione

The beach of Bibione will live a very intense Easter this year. In addition to accommodate a lot of tourists who take advantage of these holidays to spend some days on the beach, the seaside resort will be stormed by fans and sportsmen of Quads.

On April, 12th and 13th, welcomes the beach of Bibione the first of six stages of the Quad Elite Ed Endurance Trophy 2009, awarding the prestigious Bibione Pineda Trophy.

A thrilling Easter, characterized by motors and sand, a combination that has had a big success in Bibione also last year with the Beach Motor Race. For this reason the seaside resort offers again its wide beach for a new and exciting motorcycle race, this time with Quads. Speed, jumps, breathtaking bends and motors will liven up the beach of Bibione for two days. The Bibione Pineda Trophy offers also the chance to tourists and participants to have fun in the evening of the 12th: from 8 pm aperitif, great barbecue and concert on the beach for all people with the cover band „Nuovo fronte del Vasco“.

Thanks to this event organised by „Fun off Road“, Bibione, its hotels and apartments will live an exciting Easter with motors, sport and fun on the beach.

The beach of Bibione

The appointment with the Beach Volley Marathon comes again on the Bibione beach, in the Beach Arena near the famous spa.

Thanks to the big participation of athletes and fans, also this summer the most famous volley marathon of the Venetian coast offers two events to mark the opening and the closing of the summer season. The first appointment will be from Friday the 22nd to Sunday the 24th of May, while the second will be from Friday the 4th to Sunday the 6th of September. After the very good experience of the double marathon made the last summer, the organizers decided to offer it again this year with a more rich programme.

Both in May and in September, the 150 grounds of the Beach Arena will create two heated championships offering a different contest. Both professional athletes and amateurs can take part in the marathon and that’s the secret of the success: the involvement of all volleyball’s fans, from famous volleyball players to fans that meet together on the beach of Bibione to spike the ball with friends.

Thanks to the two different contest, the Beach Volley Marathon collected last year 1748 teams and 8000 participants. Numbers that organizers ensure to repeat in a few months. The leagues are 2×2 men, 2×2 women, 3×3 men, 3×3 women and 4×4 mixed.

After a full day on the grounds, the beach of Bibione waits participants and organizers for the most amusing aperitif of the seaside resort: Spritz Party on the Beach. From 11.30 pm the party of the Beach Volley Marathon moves to the disco with the Disco Party. A lot of music, dance and fun for those who have energy to spend. And after a refreshing rest in the hotels and apartments of Bibione, everybody is ready in the early morning at Beach Arena for another exciting day of volleyball.
